Olivia Joffre is a Paris-based expert in the fight against piracy and counterfeiting. After practicing in business law firms in the U.S. and France in the fields of intellectual and industrial property law, new technologies and personal data, she joined the digital policy department of the French Ministry of Culture, followed by the Hadopi (now ARCOM), where she dealt with the evolution of intellectual property and its challenges in the digital age. She subsequently developed and managed the legal and public affairs division of the anti-piracy company LeakID. Her knowledge of the piracy ecosystem and her internationally recognized expertise enable her to offer tailor-made support to her clients, in any sector of activity.
Olivia represents France in the European Intellectual Property Office’s (EUIPO) Legal Experts Group, is a member of the New York Bar and is on voluntary leave from the Paris Bar. She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and New Technologies from Fordham Law School, a Masters in Intellectual Property Law from Panthéon-Assas Law School and a Diploma in Comparative Law from McGill Law School.
