Caroline Mitchell is a Managing Director in London where she leads the Investigations and Due Diligence practice of Forward Risk. Caroline has over a decade of experience running large cross-border investigations in the legal, financial, reputational risk, business intelligence and investigations sectors. She has significant expertise advising leading clients, executives and investors as they make decisions and develop strategies.

Caroline has led and executed hundreds of international investigations including, but not limited to, fraud and anti-corruption, asset tracing, enhanced due diligence, internal investigations and the full range of dispute resolution investigative support.   

Caroline previously worked for two leading global risk consultancy and investigation firms assisting clients gather information to provide clarity in multifaceted legal and business challenges. Prior to this Caroline held various post-university internships and paralegal roles with financial institutions and international law firms culminating as a paralegal in Slaughter & May’s Global Investigation Group when she decided to make a change and focus on international corporate investigations. 

Caroline is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and has lived and worked in over ten countries. 

In her spare time, Caroline enjoys reading, travelling and long walks with her pomsky.
