Before joining Forward Global, Marie-France built a long career in the automotive industry, including 16 years in Brussels with a strong European focus. As Head of European Affairs at MEDEF, she led the Paris and Brussels teams in advancing MEDEF’s economic diplomacy strategy and promoting the interests of MEDEF and its members before the European institutions on key issues directly or indirectly affecting its federations and member companies.
Prior to this, she served as Director of European Affairs for Renault from 2010 to 2022 and, in 2012, became Head of the Brussels Office for the Renault–Nissan Alliance. Earlier in her career within Groupe Renault, she held various positions, including in the Legal Department as Head of Environmental Law, and later in the Group Manufacturing Division, where she was responsible for the performance of body and assembly plants.
She holds two postgraduate degrees (DEA) in Environmental Law and in Private International Law / International Trade Law. She began her career at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), working with the International Court of Arbitration and the Environment and Energy Commission, and later at the OECD’s Nuclear Energy Agency.
Marie-France currently serves as Chair of the European Union Committee of the Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France (CCE).
