Karan Balaji is an analyst at Forward Global’s Miami office, and conducts geopolitical research and investigations in the Caribbean, the Middle East, and North Africa. Karan joined Forward Global from Lionsgate Entertainment, where he developed acquisition and monetization strategies for independent film producers. Karan has directed multiple documentaries focused on hip-hop and car culture, and has produced branded content for companies including Visa and CashApp. He graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where he studied international political economics and Arabic.
