Jacques has more than two decades of government and private sector expertise. He served in both the French and German Defence Ministries and the French Treasury after graduating from Polytechnique, spending some time at the Bundesbank. From 1995 to 1999, he was in charge of creating the Euro in the Cabinet of the responsible EU Commissioner. He then served as Microsoft’s chief lobbyist in the EMEA region.

Jacques has helped more than a hundred of companies on mergers and antitrust issues. He was listed by the Financial Times among the 30 most influential people in Brussels (the list included only 2 consultants in total)
