Marin Messy joined the European office of Forward Global as a consultant in July 2022. He works on security and defence issues, including on the impact of digital transformation in these sectors. Marin frequently works in cooperation with national and European institutions and for private-sector companies. He regularly contributes to projects for the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the European Cybersecurity Agency (ENISA). He worked on the Vauban Papers on the challenges and opportunities of Cloud technologies for the military, and supported the organisation of the Vauban Sessions, an annual conference co-organised with the French military on the digital transformation of Command & Control.

Marin holds a master’s degree in strategy, intelligence and risk management from Sciences Po Lille, with a thesis on the strategic challenges of Russian naval forces. After a first experience at the French Land Forces Command, Marin joined the French Armed Forces in New Caledonia (FANC). He speaks French, English and German.
