Prior to joining Forward Global in September 2023, Lorenzo worked for more than a decade for FoodDrinkEurope, one of the largest EU trade bodies based in Brussels representing the food and drink industry. His years of expertise in public and regulatory affairs has allowed him to extensively contribute in shaping EU policy for the sector, in particular on key sustainability issues. 

His long standing experience in trade association work has enabled him to play a critical role in steering the design and implementation of key advocacy strategies vis a vis the EU and global institutions including external stakeholders.

Lorenzo was also Executive Director at IDACE (European Dietetic Food Industry Association), now called Specialised Nutrition Europe (SNE). He was responsible for establishing this trade association from Paris to Brussels in 2011.

In addition to his native English and Italian, Lorenzo speaks French and Spanish.
