Jonathan Bucks is a Senior Director in the London office of Forward Global and a highly experienced investigations and intelligence specialist with a distinctive background spanning risk advisory and investigative journalism. Prior to joining Forward Global, Jonathan spent four years at C&F Partners, where he played a central role in leading and delivering complex, multi-jurisdictional assignments for corporates, investors, and high-net-worth clients. His work focused on sensitive investigations, contentious situations, and matters involving significant legal, reputational, and commercial risk.

Before transitioning into risk advisory, Jonathan spent a decade as a journalist in London, including five years at The Mail on Sunday. During this time, he specialised in complex investigations. He is fluent in French and Spanish and holds degrees from the University of St Andrews, the Sorbonne, and City, University of London.
